4 TIPS TO HELP YOU MAKE THE MOST FROM LEARNING AT HOME

Right now, many of us may be working or learning from home, and especially as the summer months come to a close, navigating at-home work may be a new challenge. We've put together some great tips that can help you stay kind to yourself no matter what kind of work environment you're in.

Setting a schedule for yourself can create a sense of structure in your day. Use your favorite tracking method- a handwritten agenda, google calendar, or little sticky notes to write out your daily expectations.

Another tip is to work in a designated space. Training your brain to associate this space with work will help increase productivity and motivation, as well as bring an element of physical separation to your home. Plus, not working in your sleeping space will lead to more restful sleep and decreased levels of stress.

This isn’t just limited to offline space! Taking some time to eliminate distractions on your phone and your computer can help you ignore potential messages or distractions that can be more tempting than answering that email.

It’s super easy to find yourself zooming out during a zoom call (ha ha ha), especially when these calls happen every day.  Active participation is the best way to stay on track, whether it be asking that clarifying question or taking notes

.As always, patience and love for yourself are key during periods of stress and change; you are a unique human doing your best— encourage yourself, allow yourself to rest, and always reach out if you are struggling.
